Its really hard to say, there are a lot of factors that determaine how long they will last. Depends on how many miles you drive the car. The type of tire you buy. If your car alignment is good. How you drive the car. I would guess 3-4 years average. Hope this helps.

Try a more expensive car tire. A truck tire will last longer but will make a car handle really funny, stiff and non-responsive. Also insist that the tires are rotated every oil change and not just front to back but what is called cross rotation. Left front goes to right rear and so forth. What you don't state in your question is the reason the tires are being replaced. Is it because the tread is worn, the tires are cupped or is the car wearing the "corners" off the tires. More information could help us give you a better answer.

High powered car can chew a set in a year or 12,000 miles my 400 hp car needs new rubber at 13,500 miles at $230 each. And high performance tires are so much fun. Those four small patches of rubber is all you have for controling your 4,000 pound car.

Depends if you keep the tire pressure where it's suppose to be. Also it depends on the road condition you drive at and having proper alignment.
