Has anyone ever gone insane from lovesickness? Literally.

There are separate cases but they are rare.....you have to have some other factors in action not only love to make such damages

Yes, we read about this in the newspaper on a daily basis. There are people that cannot believe someone would reject them and unfortunately, they resort to violence which I consider a form of insanity.
There are people that when a loved one dies or leave them for some reason, they become so depressed that they fall into a state of insanity that may their cause death. We refer to that person as someone who died of a broken heart.

Absolutely.
Love can transform into an obsession, which is a very dangerous thing and can be very, very serious. That's why it's good not to keep your love bottled inside...mind you, you don't go and inform the person you like that you want to marry them on the day that you meet them, of course you wait to be their friend and get to know them, but you don't hold it inside for years and years and never confess.
Trust your heart, but use common sense.
(That's not my motto, lol, but I'm considering it!)

Love probably cant cause madness but maybe infatuation or obsession can cause a person to go mad.
