When you say "The measure of angle A is 9 less than the measure of angle B", do you mean that the measure of angle A is 9 DEGREE less than the measure of angle B? Please note that these two cases are drastically different. If there is no degree sign following the number, the number is in radian. thus 9 <=> 9*180/pi DEGREE > 180 degree.
if A + B = 180(degree)
and B - A = 9 (degree)
obviously A = 85.5 degree and B = 94.5 degree.
