yes we should share the earth, along with everything that is living on earth...
but do most people care? no. humans are selfish and greedy. we only think about ourselves and how we can make money and get rich. so we cut down all the trees and forests that the monkeys and other animals live in. we pollute the air and water that they breathe and drink. its the human way.

Humans are more closely related to apes and chimpanzees than monkeys. The monkeys failed to dominate the way we did and hold their own, so they do not get an equal share. We should give them a livable share, though, in the interest of preserving their species. We're not even doing that, now. Shameful.

No, and your 100% wrong. Humans and monkeys do not share the same Ancestors. The DNA is not a complete match ,so your Wrong. Even in the Holy Bible it tells how humans have flesh for humans and animals have different flesh. Humans do share with animals. The animals have it good and why should humans be equal to an animal. It is sin to treat an animal as a human. Huge difference there.

No. We may share ancestors but they have failed to evolve. We also share ancestors with every other being on Earth, seeing as how billions of years ago there was nothing but a few single celled bacteria that progressed through the process of evolution.

I always thought we do. We are killing them just like we are killing ourselves for no reasons that I can see. It is stupid, but people being what they are, I don't see any major changes before they wipe out monkeys, gorillas and all other primates including ourselves some time in the future. At least in my opinion.

One group of people can't even manage to share the earth equally with another group of people. You would think we could at least do that much, but instead we divide ourselves off from each other in increasing small increments until finally we only approve of the people in our area who look and think exactly like us.
Not terribly evolved after all.

When the monkeys ask for equal treatment I'll be happy to see them get it. Until then screw the monkeys.

I tried sharing everything with my monkey brother when we were kids. He didn't return the favor.

Ok if a monkey can come up to me, and politely ask me in English to share a room with me, I would treat him perfectly equally, until then... i dont think so...
