Have liked all Carrie Underwood has released . As for Kelly other than "Because Of You" I don't find her stuff all that great. I would say Carrie is definitely better and certainly more to country music than Kelly does. After all look at all Carrie has done and accomplished against Kelly's stats. and the lesser time she has done it in than Kelly's accomplishments.

it depends which type of music you like. kelly clarkson is actuaolly one of the only non country artist i listen to, so i can give u a balanced opinion. Kelly is a great singer and she is finally starting to show more of her own self thorugh her music and sticking by her stuff-my december being the proof. At the same time, Carrie Underwood is the best vocalsit to come out of american idol. listen to her music for proof. She has released great pop country songs, but she didnt write any of them. Her new single, So Small is cowritten by her so that shows some of her other creative sides. I liked to see a song that she writes by herslef entirely so i can see how talented she is. Carrie is one of the most popular artist this last eyar-her album went 5x platinum, but kelly has been around quite a while and was the only real sucessful idol until carrie. So, both artists are great in the individual way-kelly as a pop/rock artist and carrie as a pop/countyr artist. time will tell if carrie has satying power-but i would say she does. i like Kellys music better but prefers carries voice.That is my long opinion:)

Neither, but if I had a preference, I'd pick Kelly Clarkson. Carrie Underwood just gets on my nerves. If I hear "Before He Cheats" one more time, I'll scream.

I like Kelly Clarkson, she has some decent songs. Carrie Underwood makes me like to puke. I am sorry, but I really don't like her.
