The idea that the Lord exists but cannot be seen, heard, or felt can be viewed as a paradox, being that things in existence are always, to our knowledge, seen, heard, or felt.
A paradox is a self-contradictory statement. "The Lord exists but cannot be seen, heard, or felt" is a paradox.

A paradox is not a half-truth or a false statement as some have said. The wording, the way it is put, make the statement SEEM self-contradictory, but the statement is true nevertheless.
An example will help. Imagine a line of infinite lenght with beads on it, say the beads are seperated by one inch from one another. The number of the beads will be infinite This is clear enough, no contradiction, no paradox.
Now let us say every second, or every tenth, or every hundredth or millionith bead were coloured, say, red - which beads are there the more, the red ones or the rest?Remenber, the line is of infinite lenght. On that line, every inch or every million inches (it doesn't mater) there is a red bead, so the number of red beads will be infinite. On that line too, the number of the rest of the beads is infinite too.
Statement: a part of infinity is as great as infinity itself. Or: taking infinity from infinity, infinity is left. Paradox.
How can a part of the whole be equal to the whole? Yet the statement is correct.
Now to your sentence - I had forgotten! A paradox is a seemingly absurd statement.

paradoxes involve false statements or half-truths and the resulting biased assumptions.
But this reminds me - if you have two doctors in the room at the same time you have a paradox.
