Affection in public?
Not a problem at all with me - if the one you are with makes you happy, then why not? Why hide it, just because there are people around?
Let the World know, that they make you happy/you're in love, whatever, feel proud for who you are with.
Now of course if the affection quickly heads towards 'adult entertainment' (for want of a better phrase) then that is a different matter altogether...

I guess it would depend on how much affection is being displayed. If they are doing everything but the final part I would be a bit uncomfortable (most likely running in the opposite direction as I almost always have the kiddies with me) but if it's something as simple as holding hands, hugging, hands in each others pockets, kissing (from pecking to lip lock), sitting on each other's laps, etc. I would be alright with it. Before I answer the next part of the question let me tell you I come from a rather small town where up to a few years ago homosexuality was not very public. That being said I will now answer the second question: My first experience seeing homosexual displays of affection actually occured at a "gay" bar. My friend is a stripper and one of her co-workers, "Nicki", is bi. "Nicki" decided to throw her girlfriend "Angela" a birthday party there. My friend invited me to come with her. The first thing I saw upon entering were two gentleman (in much the same attire as my father wore when he went out), one man was sitting on the other's lap. Initially I was a bit shocked because the first thought that went through my mind was that of my father. After the initial shock, it really wasn't any different for me than seeing two people of the opposite sex sitting in the same fashion.

I think PDA is acceptable if it is appropriate.
There is nothing more wonderful than seeing a couple, especially elderly holding hands and/or kissing each other tenderly.
On the other hand, it can be revolting to see two people gropping one another on the street.
I love to kiss and hug my husband in public. It makes him feel loved also. We are "child" censored in our displays. I want people to say, "How nice" and not, "That's gross!!".

I look at it this way, people pay alot of money to put on public displays of affection, so I for one do not fine anything bad about.

I dont mind them as long as the 2 people that are doing it arent overdoing. There are people that just grope and do deep throat kissing and thats just nasty. I feel like its ok to hold hands. Hug. Kiss.as long as it doesnt get out of hand.LOL. hope i made sense. If not im sorry.Lack of sleep.

I don't think I am paranoid on the subject, I like to see couples holding hands, or a impetuous kiss will make me smile, but more than that, and my feeling is that the old saying is accurate."Go get a Room".

holding hands, a quick peck, arms around waist are okay. but like making out in public, putting hands in the other persons rear pocket, or touching each other in wierd sexual ways is so gross.

I think it's fine as long as you draw a line between classy and trashy.

I don't like it. Doing it, or watching it. If I see it, I look the other way. If I do it, I don't look around at people to see who's watching!
