"The Pretzel"

By Nad

It goes sorta this way, and then it goes sorta that way.
It flips over and reverses itself, and goes in and out. It can't seem to decide which way to go. It is a "political-pretzel".
You can never know which part to bite, becase it twists all around, and you want salt with every bite, but sometimes the salt fell off, and a naked pretzel is terrible.
The straight pretzel stix are boring, and though they can get married legally in all states, they are still just straight.
Big ol' bakery-bread pretzels are fun, and you can put mustard on 'em, and they're hot and tasty. I like 'em.
They are not straight either, so they can only have "partnerships" in most countries, but people still laugh at them and beat them up, which is not nice.
A really good thing about all pretzels though, I think, is that they are brown on the outside, and white on the inside.
They can not change their race, their traditions, or their acceptability by any culture.
Everybody loves a pretzel, because it is honest, and always friendly. Straight or not, brown and white, a bit salty like most people, and they stay fresh a lot longer than Cheetos.
I gotta go get a bag of pretzels. Later.
