taylor swift cuz she's a talented songwriter and she wrote and cowrote every song on her platinum seling albumm..she is the one who got me into songwrting and singing and guitar...miranda lambert is also my favorite..i gove her and taylor a tie : )

I actually have two!!
Garth Brooks, because I remember my dad playing songs like Dixie Chicken and Bury the Hatchet when I was a kid...he has a great deal of talent, great stage presence, a great voice, and seems like a truly good person!!
Hank Williams, Jr., because he is also an extremely talented individual, both vocally and instrumentally. He is a part of an era long gone, through himself and his father...and he is at the cornerstone of modern country music.

Miranda Lambert easily..both CDS debuted at # 1 and are awesome,very talented singer,songwriter and guitar player. shes by far the best and most country of any of the new females and not afraid to stick to her country roots.none of this silly all genre music to sell albums,pure country girl !

Garth Brooks because I just love everything he stands for. He wasn't afraid to put a little rock into country, but at times would do the traditional stuff too.

Toby keith because he writes, sings and is a great perfomer. His voice is awesome and he ahs written and sang some oif my fav songs-beer for my horses, american soldier, how do like me now etc. also he has always stood by his convictions no matter what and i find that very conmendable! Toby Keith has also been loya to his blue collar roots!

Hank Williams III is my all time favorite. I like him best because his songs are original and sound the way country music ought to. He reminds me of his granddaddy, Hank Williams Sr who is also one of my favorites.
