Because we want to punish Castro for making Americans get out and stop treating the island like a personal playground. He had the right idea but the wrong way to do it, and the people have suffered under him. If he dies and the new leader becomes friendly to Americans, we'll be right back there, being the rich tourists, gambling and drinking and smoking again while the people starve.

As long as Fidel Castro seat as Cuba's leader, the US sanctions stays. The Americans just can't accept the old leader.

God,who knows. It's stupid. We go half way around the world to,****, I don't know why,anyway, to I'm told "rescue" who? somebody?
And there is a country 90 miles from us who we sanction and don't help.This country, the US, is so f*cked up, Ben Franklin is likely saying, "what the fu..,what did you do that for,get the fu.. , man you guys are beyond help".
