Any sites that have info. on COASTAL deserts?

for my biology project, i have to do a powerpoint and paper on coastal deserts (NOT regular deserts). i can't find any info. on just coastal deserts, does anybody know of a site that could help me?

When you are doing searches on the internet, it is a matter of getting used to "how" the computer looks for words. In this case, by making desert singular I was able to find more references for you. Google Books is a very good resource for this and future assignments. Below you will find a link to coastal deserts from Chile to the Somali-Chalbi and beyond. Good luck.

P.S. Once you get the names of the coastal deserts, you may need to do additional searches on the individual desert. In that case, go back to http://google.com and type in the name of the desert. You should get plenty of details for your project.

Don't have sites for you since I'm a 'seat of the pants' kind of guy. But the Atacama Desert in Northern Chile is possibly the driest area in the world, and looking into that will teach you a lot about climatology.
Whoever gave you that assignment knew what he/she was doing.
