do you also hate your favorite teams state rival. Example, I am an Auburn fan, their rival is Alabama,and I cannot stand them, I cheer for them to lose no matter who they play. Some people tell me i'm wrong and that I should support my state team until they play my team,because that's where I am from, but I can't. Do you do this, or are you able to have your favorite and hate the other only when they are playing eachother?

Im an LSU fan but I dont hate Tulane. I like Tulane expect when they play LSU. I do hate Alabama though.

I'm a Notre Dame fan (yes, it's gonna be a real long season...),
but our rivals are really scattered all over the place, and the only one I would actually "hate" would be USC, but that is mostly because of their fans......There are a few that are allright....but no team has a bigger, louder, and more ignorant group of bandwagon riders.....including some cat who claims to go there...but can't spell worth a dang.
Only other teams I got a hate on for would be OSU (I live in Ohio....and man are they obnoxious), and the U of Tennessee....pretty much for the same reason.

I'm an OU fan and I root for OSU when not playing OU. I root for the state first and then for my conference (the Big-12) over any other conference. I'm making an exception this week by rooting for TCU to beat Texas. Much of my family is from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

Im a kentucky fan, and in kentucky, the state rival is Louisville. Most kentucky fans hate louisville, wont even talk to louisville fans. I'm not like that, as long as they are not playing kentucky, i'm okay. They only team i do not like in UNC.

im an lsu fan and i still go for tulane when their not playing lsu just becuz they represent louisiana
but your more justified to hate alabama cuz they're in the sec with auburn so the better alabama is the harder it'll be for auburn

In the NFL I love the Cowboys, I dont hate the Texans but I do hate the Redskins. In Baseball I love the Yankees dont hate the Mets but do hate the Red Sox.

I think it's great how loyal you are. I was a die-hard Buffs fan (therefore hating CSU), until I moved from Colorado to Texas...now I am excited to see any Colorado team win, even CSU--unless they are playing CU (which won the match up for those who still care)....
Either way, I think it's great to have a team you love to watch.

I don't. I'm a Washington Husky and I root for the Washington State Cougars to win unless they're playing us, but they hate us. We're a world-class university and they're a podunk backwater school. So they're not worth having contempt for. I hate the Oregon Ducks though, they're fans are losers.

I'm from SoCal. Big Bruins fan and I love it when SC loses. I'm also a huge North Carolina basketball fan and I wish Duke would lose every game they play!

I'm an Auburn fan, too. And it is morally right for you to hate those stump-neck, gap-tooth, knuckle-dragging, mullet-wearing, book-burning, cousin-kissing, NASCAR-watching, polyester-wearing, stoop-gait, mouth-breathing, backwoods lackwits.
Really, as a conscientious member of civilization, you have a duty to despise them.
