It tends to be my imagination that fools me. Makes me fall deeply in love with someone who I can never ever have, makes me mad with jealousy and concupiscence. Makes me believe for just a while that I am happy, and there is'nt a thing I'd change about my life. The illusion of happiness is all I can ever shake myself from. The rest is still tormenting me.

I sometimes let me down. But I no longer kick myself for it for days or years on end. I just let it go, with a tear and an apology.

I think its a little of both. It would depend on the person too. For me people let me down just as much as my own dreams/ expectations.

Even if they let you down for the time being, i believe that eventually dreams do come true and expectations meet opportunities......

People let me down, & so do my dreams because I feel like it's not possible to reach my dreams. I'm a disgrace.
