I really thought at first that she would be a great role-model for the younger girls who enjoy country music. But there is that line of that song that says something about telling a rumor that the guy is "gay", right??? Not thinkin that is something I want my 5-16 year old repeating when listening to it. How about anyone else?

Taylor Swift "performed" the National Anthem at a spring baseball game in March 2007, and that was enough for me to know this girl is not a blessed vocalist.
She could make it on her looks or as a songwriter, but her voice is NOT all that. Teardrops On My Guitar is about the best we can expect.

I have to agree. I never liked her much anyway.
Just because she's still in school, she becomes famous. I know plenty 17 yr. old girls who can sing 10x better, but we aren't hearing them on the radio, now are we?
