Usually people automatically think a speech is going to be boring. Mainly because most of the time it is. People running for something will get up on stage, say their speeches, sit back down, and no one will remember them when voting time comes.
Because of that, I’ll make this short, sweet, and to the point: vote for me and if you don’t then well let‘s just say that really stinks for me. AND JUST FOR THE TEACHERS I’ll put something the they’re are looking for. Im responsible, organized and am looking forward to being in NJHS and I, as a canidate, believe that I am right for this job please vote for me and I apologize if I this wasn’t enough to earn your vote.
Oh and to remind you… Im running for vise president and my names S________ . I’m telling you this at the end and NOT the beginning so those of you who don’t know my name can remember me.

First off, NEVER apologize.

I'd go more with this:

"First off, my name is S_____ and I'm running for Vice-President.

Now, when it comes to speeches people tend to automatically think they're boring. Most of the time it is. Those running will get up on stage, say their speeches, and afterwards no one will remember anything when voting time comes.

I say vote for me. As a candidate, I believe I am right for this job because I'm responsible, organized, and would love to be a part of NJHS. With my strong leadership skills I believe I have what it takes to serve you well and be a strong voice for the student body.

Once again, my name is S___ and I'm running for Vice President. Get out there and vote and while you're at it, vote for me!"

Shortened, to the point, and concise.

EDIT:

Don't insult your running-mates by talking about how long their speeches were. It's rude and makes you look low-class.

I'd go more like this.

Greetings classmates, Student body, Faculty.

I'm going to make this short and sweet to avoid a repeat of the long drawn out speeches others have presented here today ( assuming others are in fact running against you ).
My name is _______, I am running for Vice President of ________; because I feel I can put a change to the _______. I have been a member of _____ clubs. I have ____ leadership ability (( clubs you've been in, events, community service, all that crapola. )). Again, Just so you don't forget it which I know the majority of you probably have by now. ( Say that playfully ) My name is ______ your next ____ vice president!.

Eh.
Just what I think.
I'm no speech writer.

I'm el presidente of my class, all i had to do is hand out 1 or 2 fliers(they need to be amazing) and everything else went by word of mouth. When giving a speech: Stand straight, feel comfortable, show that you are comfortable, speak strongly, use hand gestures to emphasize a point, when making a joke if no one else is laughing dont laugh for yourself. Just stay cool. Be chill. I would write your speech, just need to know mascot and such

Hey I'm running for Vice President of NHS, and I'm making my speech long, but adding some humor to it. I say you do that too.

Be funny. People remember funny speeches. There's this kid with a speech impediment that always wins because the way he talks is funny.
