people cry. some ppl are just too afraid to cry. the reason why children always cry cuz of physical pain is because they dont have big enough ego's to force themselve not to.

Extreme pain makes anyone cry.
The definition of 'extreme' varies with age.
For a newborn, who has no concept whatsoever of *why* something hurts, any pain is extreme.
For, say, a four-year-old, 'extreme' may include any pain that is very sudden and unepected, and something as minor as a scratch.
By adulthood, one can usually take a greater deal of pain. Consider this: toe bones seem to be more prone to pain- compare the last time you stubbed a toe with the last time you accidentally banged any other body part with an equal amount of force. Then, consider that breaking bones hurts anyway.
A broken toe is probably failry high on any list rating pains...

I was very, very young because the last time I remember crying because of pain I was four or five years old getting a shot. But after that, I didn't cry anymore, not even when I skinned my knees. I just sit down & huff & puff until it stops hurting.

Yeah I was really sick with the stomach flu a few weeks ago and I got so worn down I did cry. It hurt so bad.
I'm sorry about your toe, I've broken mine before and it does hurt really bad. I've cried about that too.

I have back problems and the pain gets so bad that I do cry. I also cry for happy and cry for sad. I cry at weddings, movies, etc. I think crying is good for you because it can release pent up emotions.

Where in the world did you find such an erroneous idea? Pain (it varies among individuals) has a threshold that opens the tear ducts no matter what age you are.

No, children cry over more than that. I am 59 years old and I detest/hate/and don't want shots in my hip.....they hurt. I would rather have IV's put in than anymore shots to the hip. Last night in the emergency room I had to have a hip shot and I pitched a fit and tears came to my eyes. There is no age limit on tears.

I'm an adult, & if something hurts badly enough, I'll cry. But lately, I've been crying because of depression or hurt feelings.
