The original Night Of The Living Dead got me good when I was a kid. Now everything is splatter or gross out horror. Not really horror at all.

Like most people these days, I don't get scared watching horror movies. But the creepiest one I've seen recently, was THE DESCENT.

Hm, the most haunting would be "the shining", but there was only one horor picture that someone screamed during the cinema projection I was at and that is "stir of echos"
But if you are looking for realy unbearable and too believeble movie, try japanese "guinea pig 2"

Pet Semetary. Based on the Stephen King book. The book is better, but this movie scares me even now.
