Ok, so I met this guy at school about a year ago, and, at first we kinda became friends, then, he suddenly got the idea that I liked him and wanted for him to ask me out (even when I had never thought of him that way), so he kind of got away from me for a while, then, we ended up talking one day, and we suddenly became such good friends, we saw and talked to each other every day, and we used to be so close!

Then, we didn't see each other over the summer, and, now that school's started again, he isn't the same.... He has been making friends with one of my old best friends, and he talks to her all day long, now, and I have the feeling that he is avoiding me, and, when I do get to be with him, and ask him things like "How have you been?" He just says: "Fine", or I ask him, "What have you been doing lately?" and he says "Nothing".

But I feel so sad, because we used to be such good friends. Do you have any idea why he's suddenly so mean at me, and how I can get him to like me again?

This question should be under "Family & Relationships". If you want more answers, put it there.

You cannot FORCE someone to like you. I'm sorry he's acting so strange. Maybe there's something going on in his life you don't know about? Hopefully he'll come around.
Good luck!

school drama is always hard it could be that he likes you and is just trying to make you jealous, or it could be that he just doesn't want to be your friend.I am sorry about your situation it really sucks but the he still cares about you so maybe you should say i need to talk to you and then let him know how you feel and maybe he will open up with you too.

He wants closer companionship to a woman. First, you missed his signal (or didn't want to). Then, it got rekindled for him. Now, he has someone to be close to like that.

Maybe after he's with someone real permanently, he would be more friendly on the surface, but just maybe he's not mature enough to be just friends. I'd move on.

No,he probably doesn't know himself. Adolescents can be very confused in their emotions and often do things they don't understand. Forget him, regret him but move on,get on with your own life. it's really for the best.
