Depends how you define interact.

Installing software or upgrades is certainly interaction.
Besides typing and moving/clicking the mouse, you can actually talk to some applications, punching buttons on the computer certainly counts, opening it up and doing an upgrade or a disk transplant is interaction, too.

Of couse, I would not recommend it, but whacking your computer when you are frustrated is interaction, too. I occasionally get "business" for this reason, and it's usually obvious what happened.
