I KNOW there are some cheerleaders who are smart and intelligent. How do I know this? Because my best friend is the cheerleader for the Steele-rs, and before that, she cheer leaded for the Baltimore Ravens. She maintains a 4.0 in school, and has never missed a day of class, as well as being on the dean's list in college. So that stereo-type about all of them being dumb females is just that. A stereo-type made up by some lazy, intellect-starved crazy person.

Actually, I used to be a cheerleader. Number one, cheerleading is EXTREMELY hard work and it IS a sport in every way. We are not just a bunch of dumb girls in short skirts yellng "Rah rah, go team!" On the other hand I do have to say there were only two other "chill" girls on the squad that I actually liked. The rest of them were so uptight and might as well have made their motto "Eat Sleep Breathe Cheerleading". There IS more to life than perfecting your back hand spring. But none of them were stupid.

Somehow the stereotype ruins it for the others. Or maybe that makes those others a better suprise. My purr happens to be currently trying to figure out the combination of the two. The intelligent with a shell contrived by society, but amazingly able to shine in moments when the walls come down. It's too bad the bad apples seem to spread the seed of doubt in those that shine inside.

relies upon on what variety of cheerleading you're speaking approximately. There are 2 varieties: aggressive and carrying. aggressive cheerleading is technical and makes a speciality of specifics. game cheerleading is purely as technical, yet is greater with regard to the leisure fee. i individually discover aggressive the greater advantageous of the two because of the fact it has stricter regulations and takes so lots greater to win the gang over because of the fact they have greater expectancies for appropriate technique! think of of it interior the experience of discern skating: there is the discern skating competitions the place that's extremely serious to get all of it suitable precise right down to the t... then think of of an ice instruct... nonetheless has discern skating yet is greater with regard to the wide-unfold instruct and not neccessarily approximately each pass being techniquelly superb. the two are the two relaxing to visual show unit... yet you have distinctive motives to visual show unit the two.

Individually, or maybe two together, they can be pleasant and friendly. But when you get them altogether in a group, they are self-centered and arrogant. When I was in high school, I hung out with the people who smoked weed and drank. One of our favorite ways to pass the time was to ridicule the cheerleaders. My friends and I kept an eye on the ones that the cheerleaders seemed to pick on and, in return, we made their holier-than-thou lives miserable.

I know a couple ladies that use to cheer in school. Lol! Toothless and a mess of babies! I can honestly feel sorry for them now that their looks are gone and they pretty much ended up like the kids they use to pick on in school...too bad.

Honestly I think that they are kind of wannabes. They try to be cool so they join cheerleading. At my school, the popular kids aren't even the ones that are in cheerleading, it is the kids that want to be popular. But, not everyone is a wannabe. Some people actually like the sport and I think that that is cool because they found something they like. And I dont think that they are all stupid. Some are intelligent.

You know, everyone negatively stereotypes cheerleaders when most of them really aren't mindless airheads who only are on the squad because they're popular--at least, that's not how it works at our school. My friend is a cheerleader and is a kind, smart person who has many extracurricular activities, including band practice and volunteering.

i personally don't think that there's really even much of a point to cheerleading... but i don't think that all of them are stupid girls. most of them at my school are, and that's probably because they just signed up for it and went for it to become more popular. but there's one or two girls that are actually nice, smart people...

...saying that all cheerleaders are dumb females is just another stereotype out there, and of course it's not always true.

I think they are cute out-going girls who like to dance and be a part of something big and special. Some are probably dumb some are probably really smart ambitious kids, but what does that have to do with being athletic?

I dont like to judge people by that alone. However, when I was in school, it seemed that the cheerleaders were always a bunch of rich snobs and never gave me the time of day.
