look....you have your special "time of the month", that you don't want to be messed with.

Well, we have our special time of the year.....which is usually for less than a total of 40 days out of the year, and is largely predictable.

Your "time" usually lasts close to a full week at a time, and that comes to about 84 days out of the year.....I think we aren't asking for much.

And just like you want chocolate and foot rubs, we want beer and pizza. What's the big deal?

So.....truce? You get your "So you think you can dance", and your Ben & Jerry's, and I get my Football and Blue Moon Ale.

:-)

Disrespectful, nagging women that expect a man to respect things she likes, but is too self centered to do the same for him. Men love football. Respect that. Better yet, learn the game and join in the fun, you 2 will have a wonderful time enjoying the season. (even if you are just pretending) He will love you for it.

Hormones! They are instinctively into watching warriors fight to win with strategy.

Don't talk when the game is on!

Its like your man walking in on you every time you need alone time in the bathroom or talking to you in the middle of a scene that determines the out come of your favorite show.

For the same reason why my girlfriend gets moody when I tune my guitars while she's watching Desperate Housewives--if you leave us alone and don't make any racket, we simply won't be too moody.

It's the stress of worrying if your favorite team is gonna win and the excitement of waiting for it to happen. ESPECIALLY if he plays fantasy because then there's usually money or some other kind of manly bragging rights which means he must watch every game and every highlight. GO PATRIOTS!!!!
