How do you deal with a friend who you have known and been friends with your whole life, but this person still?

How do you deal with a friend whom you have known your whole life, and are still the best of friends but this person still wants to do, and talk about the same things that you did when you were 15? But there are things that you want to do that you know would never interest them?

How do you know ? I f you already expressed them and received a nonchalant response then I would say you have something to go on, but if you are a cynic about something that never took place , there shouldn't be a judgment.
