It's possible, but not likely. I have heard of pregnant women having one last light period and then none after that; mostly though one means the other is not possible.

Yes. I had my period the first time I was pregnant. It was a different kind of period than usual though.

It is possible to maintain a period throughout your entire pregnancy, although anytime you are spotting, bleeding or have even a tinted discharge, you must call you OBGYN. Even if it is every month like a normal period, better to be safe! NOW, if you are wondering if you are pregnant, yet maintaining your cycles, then yes, that, too is possible.

it is possible to bleed while pregnant but not to actually have a "period" which is when the lining of the uterus is shed. many women have monthly bleeding that makes them think that they are having a period when they are really pregnant.

Echoing Trish, it's possible, though highly unlikely. Take a test to be sure, though, as spotting can be a sign of pregnancy. If you're experiencing a good flow though, it's probably safe to say you're in the clear. No pun intended, there.
