she claims that she still loves me but doesn't want the "added on pressure" of a relationship with college and what not. She was not the best girl friend ever but I just cant seem to get over her.

Since she is claiming that she still loves you, I imagine you are holding on to that chance of getting back together.

She can love you, but not be IN LOVE with you.

The first thing you need to do is get some closure that the relationship is over. Once you know that it is over, you will be able to move forward and find someone that will truly love you and you HER.

Good Luck, faith

Its tough now but over time you could feel better, time has to pass, some people never get over their ex for a long time or they just never do and have to deal with that on their own and life has to move on, you can't always be looking back at the past when you need to be moving forward. I hate to say it like this but you just to have to except her decisions, it suck but what can you do, you can always love someone and have that special place in your heart for them, but you can't make them love you back the same way, if she claims that she still loves you then it's probably true, but you are not where her heart and mind is set at right now in her life, she's in college doing what she has to do for her future and you should respect that, you can always have that hope that in the end of this she will be with you once again but that is all you can do on your part. Think about you relationship if it was not all that great and you guys were unhappy this may be her way of telling you to just move on in a nice way.

What you have to realize is that ex's are ex's for a reason! And all the issues that you broke up for in the first place WILL come back at some point. The new girl is the way to go!

Im in the same situation right now.
I know how hard it is to 'let go'
Just take it a day at a time.
There are more fish in the sea and we got the bait.
Thank God you know how to love, and try as I am to move on and let go with love.
Good Luck

It all depends on whether or not you still spend time with her and see her.... if you are still spending time with her you shouldn't and if she just wants to be friends, don't work your life around hers... compromise... don't just blow her off every chance you get but don't revolve your life around hers... and try talking to other girls or go out with the guys... one or two things will happen, she will either get jealous because your not spending time on her, or you will get over it... it takes some time but it will happen

I don`t think she is in love with you. She might love you but there is a difference of in love and love. Forget her. She ain`t worth it . Get on with your life.

If she says she doesn't want to date you any more, believe it. Get out, stay active, and find someone who returns your interest.....
