If I was old enough I would vote for Mitt Romney. I know that for some reaso people seem to be afraid of having him be one of our leaders because he is Mormon, but I say...Who cares? I think thats stupid. Right now this country needs someone who can make decisions quickly and act if disaster hits, someone who can make decisions carefully that will benefit, not hurt us, and I also think that we need to have someone with good values. I know tons of LDS people and they are all absolutely great. Not only that, but when I talk to them about ridiculous rumors I have heard, they tell me none of them are true. Look past Romney's religion... I have heard absolutely nothing bad about him and he seems to have unbelievably high standards as well!

This election is a first for me. I never thought I'd ever vote for a republican esp after the disaster we call the Bush administration. But I found a canidate who really inspires me. I will be voting for Ron Paul. He is anti-war, wants to lower taxes for the middle class and poor, voted no against the Patriot Act, voted no against the amendment banning gay marriges. He believes the United States should have a non-intervenionlist forgien policy where we trade and negiote with other countries instead of fighting useless wars where so many innocent people die. He wants to drastically reduce the debt the United States is in and restore our country to the democracy it once was. Finally we have a voice for the people.. one that isn't backed by corporations and lobbyists.. but by the people.. Ron Paul is a man of his word.. just check his track record.. He knows where he stands on the issues, unlike other canidates whose stances seem to change from week to week.. I truly believe he can boost the morale of this country and restore a democracy for the people not just for the elite...

I don't even know who's running yet - it is way too far away to make that determination. Fred Thomson is still going to announce, and there is a possiblity that Newt Gingrich might as well. The other candidates started running way too early - they should be doing their jobs (where they are supposed to be employed) in the Senate instead.

I am staying home. Our President bush is not on the ticket and the GOP candidates are too liberal or kooky to be President. The Democrats have the best candidates, but I would never vote for a woman or black man, even though they are far more competent than what we have now. Stand By Your Man, guys.

Whoever the Republican nominee winds up being...I say that with confidence only because I don't want a Democrat president nominating Supreme court justices.

Wow, good question. I really do not know at this point as my predictiion for the country over the next eight years is pretty bleak. Its such a mess now that it wont matter who inherits the The White House.
