Good question. I used to have a friend who owned a jewelry store and I occasionally hang out and watched customers come, do business with them or not, and go. I learned that some customers have a few idiosyncrasies regarding ring sizes and wait minute, they have logical reasons for doing what they do.

Its all in the knuckles.of your fingers. A normal hand will have barely noticeable difference in knuckle diameter between the lower and middle segment of the finger. Press on the sides and you will feel a normal bony ridge to keep a ring from falling off the finger. For those types of fingers, choose a ring where you are most comfortable with, usually just barely fitting through that knuckle space.

5-8 percent of us however, do not have pronounced knuckles. A ring can fall off easily. The people who have this type of hands choose the ring sizes that are smaller in size to keep it from falling off, just tight enough to not cut off their circulation, no more. Or their finges turn blue. Lol.

Its all in what you like and what feels comfortable. I like to have my rings tighter than looser. This what I know they wouldn'nt fall off. If your inbetween sizes I would go with what feels good, just remeber that as the day goes on your fingers tend to swell. If you are buying a ring many jewlers have a plan that lets you resize it for life, this way if you get it and after a week its way to tight or way to loose then you can get it resized for free.

I would go with just a little loose. Fingers tend to swell at times, and a tight ring may become uncomfortable.

well its really up to you ! i personally like the tighter rings , so that it fits perfect on ure ring finger , and it doesnt slip off . But if u like the looser look , you can always wrap tape on it , so it doesnt fall of too!

thats really up to you.....if you get one thats too tight, then you will have a harder time taking it off, and you could cut of circulation to the finger tips
