I agree ironic,i think steriods have taken their toll on his body and it would be sort of sweet justice for the sox to have put the nail in his coffin.

I think that as a 45 year older, next year his career will be over anyway ( at least as a starter ). The real question is how will The Moose (Mike Mussina) do taking the Rocket's spot in the rotation for those 1 to 2 starts? And if Mike does well, will that mean Roger will be put in the bullpen for the rest of the regular season? And lets be honest. Will he really risk his career just because he wants to pitch well against the Red Sox? Believe me, the Rocket will come back FIRING!

i think of of that as a 40 5 3 hundred and sixty 5 days older, next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days his occupation could be over as nicely ( a minimum of as a starter ). the authentic question is how will The Moose (Mike Mussina) do taking the Rocket's spot indoors the rotation for those a million to 2 starts off off? And if Mike does good, will that propose Roger could be put in the bullpen for something of the common season? And we could be straight forward. Will he incredibly risk his occupation purely as a results of certainty he desires to pitch good against the purple Sox? have faith me, the Rocket will come back FIRING!

I expect to see Clemens pitching in 2008, in the 2008 Olympics, in the 2009 WBC, and the 2009 season. And that, finally, will be the end of his career.

And somewhere in there he pitches a game for the Astros with Koby starting at 3B.

It's not ironic at all. You're making up scenarios in your head. Clemens didn't injure himself b/c he tried harder against the freakin Sox. It could have happened against anyone, at any time.

Who said that was going to end his career?

I thought he was going to miss 1-2 starts?
