Disappointment. Being grounded I can handle, being untrusted I can't.

I'd say that the worst punishment that you could receive would be to get locked in a small room with Rosie O'Donnell and Rosanne Arnold singing a duet.
But if you meant one that actually happened, then I would have to say being sent to a Southern Baptist private school for a year. That REALLY sucked! I got paddled the first day because I couldn't find the book of Psalms in the Bible. How was I to know it started with a "P". That was the first time I'd ever seen a Bible.

worse punishment that they used to do in Iraq was to have pipes duct tape to your abdomen. From the other side rats which has been starved of food would be released. The rats would start eating your skin and gain access to the internal organs. Because the other side of the pipe is sealed. the rats would make the persons guts its home. Eating the person very slowly from inside. Death comes very slowly, over period of days. and each second of existence is made of horrific pain.
So no TV and friends is not in the top 1000 as far as punishments go!
Now go and kiss your parents and thank them for giving you a life better than 80% of the worlds population.
cheers

Dad's punishment: well first I would get beat down.....and then got sent out to the shed and had 2 stay in there for about 45 mins.....and by the time I would get back inside my bedroom was stripped bare ( nothing but an empty room ) and that empty room would be mine for a few days.
Mom's punishment: same as you

I wasn't allowed to spend the night out at friend's houses for my whole senior year (which is the "excuse" I would use to go to parties and the like). I received this punishment as a direct result of totaling my car, although the two are/were completely unrelated.

Wow, that's a toughie: I was very abused as a child and a young adult, so off the top of my head, I'd have to say the worst was this one time when my adoptive father beat me with this long metal shoe-horn until it cut into my legs and they bled. I was about 16 or 17 at the time (I think).

I got to choose between grounding or whipping. I chose three licks with a belt every time. I don't like deprivation. So when I was grounded like a week ago, it really sucked. I guess being grounded was my worst.

No Star trek for a months. I got it reduced on appeal. My dad cut the last week so the penalty served was actually three. I broke a window where I'd be repreatedly told not to play ball.

I honestly don't remember being punished. My parents never found out about the things I did. I really was a pretty good child.

Hmm, I was a pretty goody goody two shoes kinda child; straight A student (still am). my parents never really told me to do my hw or anything. and so punishment wasn't really a normal thing at my house. same goes with my brothers and sisters. we all kinda were already good on our own without are 'rents telling us what to do 24/7 or w/out them worrying about us.

In Canada .......... the VERY worst thing you can do to a kid , or anyone , is to tie them to a chair in front of the TV , turn the TV on and set it to CBC !
Leave the victim there for at least one hour , then warn him it could happen again if he doesn`t smarten up !
There`s rarely a problem after that ........................
