its a polar form and complex numbers prolbem
it says Find but they dont specify what so Im confused

2) |cos(theta) + isin(theta)|

|complex number| = |a + bi| = the positive square root of (a^2 + b^2).

In your second example, you would have sqrt(cos^2 + sin^2) = sqrt(1) = 1.
