Love is a conscious decision to make a commitment to a person/a thing. When I love someone/something, I commit time and patience to it. It's something that's giving of oneself--when I love someone / something, I am willing to compromise or sacrifice part of myself to reach out to the other. Love is caring and kind, and has the interest for the best of the other.
