Okay, people either fit a stereotype or they don't.
Out of my friends, I can think of both a dumb blonde and an intelligent blonde, tall person who is goot at basketball and one that is horrible at basketball, an asian who's good at math and one who doesn't even show up to school, etc. etc.
You can make any stereotype up, and chances are they will fit someone.

Some are , some were & some never were !
As an example ......Aussie men were always regarded as being rugged outdoor types with strong masculine physiques , good looks , sporting heros etc etc
My point being that even when that was a popular belief it wasn't true across the board , maybe a little more than it is today but mostly a myth going back to the days of our founding fathers..
Some are ( settle down girls !) .....but by & large most of us are just the same , ordinary males women the world over will find fault in !

I do, if they didn't they wouldn't exist. Like the one about black people being late. if that wasn't true there would be the acronym CP time, colored people time. I believe they hold weight because a large number fall into that category. Or the one about blondes being dumb. Usually the blondes you see are a little unbalanced. What is the likelihood of someone making up a belief and it just happens to be true for so many people.

Of course... people usually dont just make stuff up, theres always a bit of truth behind everything. But that doesnt meant it applies to everyone

Maybe, but still, you shouldn't believe them unless there's proof that they are true. Not all blonds are dumb and not all Arabs are terrorists.
