I would say that this is highly unlikely, but not impossible.
The reasons why it is unlikely are:
a) The US and China have no outstanding territorial disputes;
b) China is not a militarily expansionist country, not counting areas which were traditionally under Chinese rule and separated from China with cooperation from foreign powers (e.g. Taiwan)
c) The US and China have highly inter-penetrated economies, meaning that it would be hard to find a constituency for war with China in the business community;
d) You think that it was hard to find allies in the war in Iraq? Just try finding allies to go to war against China (hence, no world war)
On the other hand, both China and the US have very nationalistic populations, and it is not out of the realm of the imagination that one or both countries might fall under the sway of leaders who think that it is politically profitable to attack the other. The habit of American politicians in blaming almost everything on China is not helpful here ... and with all the pressure for more democracy in China, it is important to note that had the population in China been consulted when the US bombed the Chinese embassy in Belgrade or when the U.S. spy plane landed in Hainan, things might have been a lot tenser than they turned out to be!

If it's just going to be the United States against China, then it won't be considered a World War.
To answer your question, I would have to say no. Both nations benefit from each, at least from an economic perspective. If anything, the United States is more concerned with the looming Iranian Uranium Enrichment program. As of now, Iran's real intented use from Nuclear energy is unknown. There is reason to believe that they are indeed pursuing Nuclear armaments. Iranian President Ahmadinejad once said that Israel should be wiped off the map.
I'm not saying that the United States will wage another war in the middle-east, but if would, it would definitely involve Iran.

Its possible, but if it would happen it would not be because of some direct attack on the US or China by the other side.
Just like the US went to war against Germany but was only attacked by Japan.
If India and China went to war and then we were attacked by Pakistan or a Middle Eastern nation allied with China I could see us going to full scale war.
The death toll I fear though would be staggering. Hundreds of Millions would die.

No. World war 3 will be the world thanks to the USA and the middle east.
Its already starting. We know the states are in Iraq, and the Iranians are threatening the US soldiers with bombs. China will back Iran. Russian may as well. However they may just stay out, but I wouldn't count on it.

"And pls dont say stuff like the two could die then Africa could take over, it somewhat is it seems that rubbish." yet, asserting that "Muslim extremists will connect with the DRNK" isn't rubbish? you're complicated politics and faith, and letting your bigotry lead you off track. There isn't yet another conflict.
