Hi, It all depends on the cause of your itchiness. Some people have dry skin or 'sun-spots' which can be very itchy. If a good moisturiser doesn't work, ask your doctor to check your skin out. Other people who get bitten by a mosquito can break out in hives, in which case, they just use an anti-histamine. This can be purchased over the counter without a prescription. Other types of itches can be soothed with calamine lotion. Soak first in a hot bath with Radox salts. You never know, you might find all your itches go down the drain when you pull the plug out.
However if it is the 'seven year itch' you'd better weigh up your situation with your current partner first. Good Luck!
