7th grade homework question about variables?

Im not getting what they want here...thanks for any help

Write a variable expression for each pattern. Use n as the variable.
7x1,7x2,7x3,7x4,...
4+1,4+2,4+3,4+4,...
1-1,2-1,3-1,4-1,...

Find the common pattern and replace the number with an "n".

So you'd see there is a pattern with 7 x (a number), so replace it with n.

Same with the rest.
