for my dance team,you don't have to tryout,but i have never had any lessons and i can't really dance.They do ballet,tap,jazz,etc.signups are on thursday.Should i signup anyways??I don't wanna look stupid b/c all the other girls can dance.I might take hip hop lessons.

Go ahead and sign up. If they don't have tryout it means they will teach you everything you need to know. My dance team is like that too. We don't have tryouts. Advanced dancers help out the beginners.

I was on the dance team in high school, and while we had tryouts, and I could dance I became a better dancer by being on the team.
Go for it. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain like a friends, a rewarding high school experience, the ability to learn to dance, and your body will be the best it ever will be.

you are so lucky, but if they dont make you try out, obviosly it is not a serios dance co. or team. go to temeculadancecompany.com
but before you do my co. is a top 50 studio of the US and if they did not try out for the teams we would not have made it this far, do it though

i think you should sign up but i would suggest taking a few extra classes...who knows you might end up being really really good!
