They are called "tennis shoes" not rubber shoes. Rubber shoes are those flimsy little flip flops that americans wear in the shower and filipinos wear everywhere, including playing basketball. Try to remember this in case someone asks you "what the heck is rubber shoes?"

For trendy outings, my favorite is Skechers. For tough long walks that need durable shoes, I go for Nike. But up until a few years ago, I had actually been a Diadora loyalist. :D
