Do have tense neck and shoulder muscles? The nerves on these muscles run down the arm and if these nerves are trapped by say, a neck injury or just tenseness, you will feel pins and needles or numbness like they have gone to sleep.
Sometimes they may be carpal tunnel symptoms which the muscles in your wrist are trapping the nerves to your fingers but this is painful and the numbness is usually in the tips of the fingers.
