I recently took an eye exame and i pretty much bombed it! i am being forced to get either glasses or contacts. people say i have pretty, clear, blue eyes and that glasses would just cover them up. but i daon't want to poke myself in the eye every mornig/night to get them on and off. i need advice!

ok in fourth grade i had glasses.... nobody could see my eyes... in the middle of fourth grade i got contacts and everyone started complimenting me.... definantly get contacts! have a pair of glasses just in case and to give ur eyes a break. But overall contacts are the best. Oh and trust me once you get hte hang of putting them on and taking them off it is SOOO easy; now i can do it without a mirror! And i never poked my eyes once. cTrust me contacts are the way to go!

Luckily, eyeglass frames have gotten more fashionable & lightweight.

If you really don't want to deal w/ contact lenses, choose a pair of rimless frames that flatter you skin tone. These will be the least obtrusive & allow your eyes to stand out.

You can also go the other way & frames that make a statement while framing your eyes.

Here's an excellent article on how to select flattering eyeglasses: http://www.allaboutvision.com/eyeglasses/eyeglasses_shape_color_analysis.htm

BTW, soft contact lenses are easy to put in & take out. It just takes a little bit of practice. I think AOSept's Clear Care is the easiest lens cleaning regime & it doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes.

Biomedic contact lenses & Accuvue Oasys have been very comfortable. Both offer visible tinting so if you drop a lens in the sink, it's easy to find.

It's best to get both if you can. I wear my glasses when I'm feeling lazy and staying home. When I go out I wear my contacts.
There will be days you don't want to wear contacts or maybe you have allergies that day.
If you have bad eye allergies go with glasses.

my sister in law and l spent hours at the optrometrist the other day and we decided single use contacts for special occasions, work, etc and a pair of half rim fine glasses for day to day, they are barely noticeable and look really good, check out the frames on line as will pay about a quarter than the shops, just need the script form optometrist

contacts are way better. i have the exact same eye colour and people are always telling me to not wear glasses cause it would cover them up. get contacts and with a little pratice it won't be a pain. good luck!
