People who are judged based on who they are - judging others based on who they are.

Bio- I agree. You understand the emotion behind it. There is something "different" about it I suppose. The cut runs deeper.

sure racial minorities should never be racist , and understand gay people and value women . but human nature can be dense . if youre stressed you can want to lash out at other opressed people . those who run our society encourage this vicous cycle of helpless people attacking eachother .

Its crazy i know. And as a minority i find it odd , because we do not have it easy to begin with and then to cast judgement on someone that is being judged already. But no we can not put the blame on a race as a whole , not at all.

Point in fact. It was evening , well late . About 2 in the morning and i was walking down the street walking to my car from a diner and i was on the phone speaking to my cousin. I was not speaking Lanna Thai , and there was a Latino guy and Black guy walking past me going in the opposite direction. As we passed i heard them in them mimmicing the way i was speaking , you guys know that asian sorta jibberish but trying to make it sound how i sounded. I thought what some stupid close minded people!! Its enough we are minorities , ands none of us will have it better than the other and they are attempting to make fun of me, LOL and of all the Latino guy , im pretty sure he speaks spanish. Some people are just close minded.

I think your question leaves the issue open for too much subjectivity...which might not be a bad thing, I don't know.

But if you're going to bring this up, how can this bother people more than those who hate their own kind. There are gay people who despise other gays, (Larry Craig is a prime example), black people who don't like their "brothers and sisters" and so on. Would that be considered hypocrisy as well, or something else?

Just because you have been discriminated against, does not mean that you cannot discriminate. Some may use it as a way to "get even" others and may not see the hypocrisy they are involved in. Minorities do not and CAN not have a monopoly on moral righteousness. Speaking as a minority (black and gay) I have found myself on the receiving end of many horrible slurs and attacks. I have also been on the giving end even if it is "just a joke" Minorities are people too!

I'm black and heterosexual, so I'm not the best person to answer your question, but I can see how that would bother a homosexual more, because it bothers me more when homosexuals are racists. There is some hypocrisy there, in that people that are use to being prejudged and unfairly criticised are doing the same.

I agree, it is hypocritical for a person of color to be homophobic. However, homophobic people of color should not be condemned more severely than homophobic White people because it is unfair to hold one group to a higher standard than another group.

How is it hypocrisy?

oh. I don't really think that it's hypocrisy. Whites are judged too, and they judge people. it's human nature, live with it.

i take back the live with it part at the end. once i submitted i realized it sounded a bit rude.

Why is it hypocrisy for minorities? That makes no sense at all to me. Sometimes questions are way too senseless and here is one for sure. Duh?
