There is ALWAYS meaning to life, in that all people have psychological and physiological needs - if nothing else, life is about meeting those needs. In the immortal words of James Brown, "I feel good! Na, na, na, na, na..."

I would be so relieved.
No more presser or obligation to anyone or anything.
Once that novelty passes, I would then assign my own meaning to life.
With a life free from meaning, the fear is gone and the standards drop dramatically. Just don't wind up in prison and your doing fantastically.
I would party more, and work enough so that I can party.
Go with the flow and never regret any moment of joy no matter how selfish.
So with that being said. Since I do believe that there is a meaning to life. At this time I do the exact opposite of the above. I work hard, I sacrifice, and try to make things better. If none of that matters then I would just go on permanent vacation.

Would take many of the legends and myths of the nations of The World add some religion and mix it up and serve it like steaming mashed potaoes with gravy on a platter of metaphor to give meaning to life. The end result creating a new hero that wields a quill instead of a sword this would still add meaning to life as so far most if not all The Heros or Heroines of Chivalry have been wielders of swords and it would change the ideas of Heroism quite a bit.

I believe that life is its own meaning. Instead of looking for the meaning of "life", I tend to focus on the meaning of MY life. I mean, that's really all I can do right? Life may never mean to others what it means to me, and vice versa. I sometimes struggle with thoughts that this life is meaningless, then I remember the love of my family, the joy in holding my new baby niece, and the grief I felt when my father passed away. Did his life have meaning? To me? Absolutely. But as far as the big word "life", I don't suppose any of us will know the answer to that question as long as we are in our present state of matter bound, materialistic being.

Sometimes I feel that there is no meaning to life, but then at times when some events occur in your life..you come to realize that life does have a meaning........you have to make everything in your daily living meaningful, for example have a meaningful convo with your best friend, make a child smile, learn to love, enjoy all emotions that you feel.......just living life should be your purpose..........dont think too much of whats gonna happen when you die, where you'll go etc etc...just live in the moment.......and you'll find meaning to your unique experience on this earth...

There is no meaning to life, except to live. So I have already discovered it and I am living a fine life.

I thought I'd had this question answered a few times as if there were no meaning and all was quite bleak, but now I insist there is a meaning or I'll be hogswoggeled, and I refuse outright to ever be hogswoggeled again.

no one will discover thus until they are dead and find they have no spirit, and then they are dead and dont know it anyways. dont dwell on it, i know where you are coming from, though. finally i just decided that is what much more uplifting and appealing and almost more logical to believe in meaning, so i turned around that part of me. and so much falls into place when there is hope and love and joy and faith

I'd go on living, just to spite it. Life is its own meaning.

Is that all there is, is that all there is? The question reminds me of Peggy Lee's song.
It's definitely as despressing as a World without God.
