No matter what you've had to deal with, never, ever complain or say anything negative about a previous job; you will be tagged, rightly or wrongly, as a malcontent, a possible troublemaker.
Many (most) jobs have office politics; someting you just have to handle in the real world; of course, it is your prerogative whether to leave and seek employment elsewhere, but if a prospective employer asks you that question simply say you want a change and new challenges...period.
Of course, family will be put first; that's the way it has always been...wrong and unfair, but there you are. You just have to remain professional and move on.

As a former interviewer and supervisor, I constantly favored to have a honest answer extremely than the widespread "capture words." a pair of alternative education: do not ***** approximately or talk trash approximately your former enterprise because of the fact it supplies the interviewer the belief you're able to do it to them if the interest does not artwork out. stay away from "capture words" the interview classes/seminars make it easier to comprehend to declare. fairly do not use the word "i'm a human beings guy or woman." this is overused and extraordinarily stupid. some doable solutions to that query must be: there have been not greater possibilities for progression and that i become attracted to advance interior a enterprise. Scheduling become a difficulty because of the fact i'm a student, a single mom, etc (please you should be particular) stay away from comments like :"My boss become a jerk (notwithstanding if he/she become a jerk) in case you left because of the fact of something like that, this is ultimate to easily say which you had alterations that could not be resolved with the administration there. economic advance is a solid reason, actually. many human beings go away one interest for yet another because of the fact the pay value is larger, the perks are greater captivating, those are superb motives. solid success! enable me comprehend in case you prefer something greater!

I interview daily for my place of work.... Always give straight forward answers... NEVER say anything bad about where you are employed now.... just say you want to be able to work yourself up and you dont see a future there.... Tell the interviewer that you would like a chance to better yourself and you thought this company, (whatever it may be) would be a good place to try to better yourself........and dont LIE.... ever....... about why you are leaving or trying to find a better job...... you dont have to tell the interviewer why you want to leave........just tell them what I told you above...... to better yourself.........

Don't mention "office politics"
Every job has office politics, so it won't look good if you're complaining about them.
I think it's perfectly fair to tell them you're "looking for a place with greater opportunities" and leave it at that.

Don't say anything that seems like a complaint even if it's valid. You will scare them. Say you're looking for more growth opportunity, new challenges, things like that.
