If you are not working apply for welfare, or have your landlord give you a letter stating you need help with rent and its due, the welfare agency can give you a one shot deal where you can pay your rent. This is only a one time deal though so make sure you can catch up after that.
Seek the help from social services, secondly maybe get a roomate so in the future you wont have a problem paying rent on time.
if worst come to worst put your stuff in storage, or sell it, and rent a room which includes utilities etc, much cheaper.
If that dont work, shelter? apply for section 8 and stuff.
You know that is uncalled for to tell this person to prostitute themselves etc, to be honest if you do end up homeless, go to a shelter, they will help you, apply for low income housing and start over from scratch.

Get a loan, sell your car, try to pursuade your landlord to delay a few weeks, etc.
You could always get into prostitution or sell drugs - and if you get caught you won't have to worry about rent anymore.

Collect all old stuff from your home and friends home i.e anything you do not need or they do not need and sell the stuff at nearest flea market.I have done that before and I netted $400 in one weekend.
