A Shallow Conversation?

Question

When I say it was a shallow conversation, and couldn't tell much about a person by it. What comes to your mind?

I was in class and said this. We had to ask each other questions about our interests and hobbies.

The whole class, teacher included misconstrued what I said. They thought I was saying the girl was shallow.

Was I unclear?

Nope, I understand what you saying, that the way the class was being "made" to conversate with each other was on a shallow level, which to a certain extent you would of been right. Those are about as DEEP as SHALLOW conversation goes, so your just a tad bit smart for your peeps, watch out for that, we don't have a culture that likes to OPENLY worship the smart, althou deep down they do ;), but I understood it. Lol I bet she didn't hehehe I always spent my time in school being as quiet as I could, keeps the ingornace from getting me in trouble.... didn't always work...
