i had my teeth cleaned today. it's been a year and a half since i had it done because of health insurance reasons. last time i had it done i was 3 months pregnant and didn't have much tartar build up as usual. i've went a couple years before without having any dental cleaning too. i've always had such good teeth and take good care of them.
well today i had the worst tartar build up ever, it hurt so bad to have it all scraped off under my gums. they said that they see that alot in pregnant women who had quick fast cleanings normally and then got pregnant and would get cavities.
how were your teeth while pregnant?

because of all the changes in the body during pregnancy it is so important for you to take extremely good care of your teeth. you should brush after every meal and floss and swish with listerine as much as possible. my sister is in dental hygiene school and she always talks about how much more pregnant women have gum and teeth problems.

I've seemed to run into the same thing recently..Luckily for me they're planning on numbing me up for my cleanings. I've never had any gum issues and now they say I may be starting with that and to keep flossing and brushing....As if I would ever stop???
