I'm assuming that the premise of your class is that you are enriching your own vocabulary for yourself. The fact that you are willing to jeopardize your own educational process makes me completely incredulous. It's not like the school board has clandestine meetings to determine ways to torture students - these classes are for your own good. Now go do your homework and don't try anything foolish like suicide - you wouldn't want to cause yourself a laceration.

Laceration- A large laceration on his forehead was visual and large amounts of blood were spilling from the wound.

Incredulous- As I finished my explanation, an incredulous look took over my fathers face.

clandestine- The clandestine relationship between the two of us was romantic at times and terrifying at others.

premise- I decided to go along with it on the premise that permission had already been granted.

I don't understand. This is a bit incredulous. Perhaps the premise for this is based on a clandestine operation. I think you should be spanked for coming up with this. Nothing that would cause a laceration, just a spanking enough to let you know that you should figure this out on your own without jeopardizing others.

The undercover agent had been warned that being caught taking part in secret and clandestine operations would jeopardize his operative status and possibly result in attacks. They had been right and he found himself in the emergency department of a local hospital with bruises, broken ribs and at least one deep and life-threatening laceration within inches of his throat.
