Wow u ask this questions more then 10 times. You are to the point it doesnt matter, b/c u are confused. You probably hear more then 100 opinions. Basically if you are really interested in the 30 yr old guy then try. Try with him. It might be good it might be bad. Just dont have high expectation. You never know what is going to happen unless you do somehting about it instead of just asking the same questions over and over. If something else is holding you back from trying with the 30 yr men, then just be friends. You have to be at least 90% sure about the person to be with him. If you have doubts or fear then dont.

Maybe she's waiting for you to talk to her? It sounds like you're far too worried about this judging by how you're counting the amount of conversations you've had and who initiated them, etc. Stop dragging your heels and tell her you like her straight out instead of just waiting on the odd text message or conversation. If she tells you she doesn't feel the same way, move on. If she does, great. It doesn't really sound like you have any kind of relationship at all so you can hardly call it "being played". For all you know she might think you're not interested, since it doesn't sound like you've made a move at all beside asking her to the prom.

Pretty much the same as priorly, but everyone is different, so I don't think age is relevant.
