How come theres no outcry over the bannister trade like there was over the Kazmir trade. Bannister is going to win rookie of the year in the AL for christs sake and has better numbers than Kazmir. All we got for Bannister was Burgos, who cant even get AAA hitters out.

I heard "Mike and the Mad Dog" on WFAN mention how much the Mets could use Bannister only once.

With two forty year olds in the rotation, the Mets could use young, home-grown arms.

I definetely agree with you, but being traded to the Royals puts him at a disadvantage based on the amount of coverage. He's not a great pitcher, but he's solid, and it's even more impressive for the Royals.

cause scott kazmir is a lefty who throws mid to high 90s and they come a lot less often then righty pitchers who dont strikeout a lot of batters
