I would to real friends. I have carried burdens to be screwed at the end of it all.

As I have been helped, so will I help any that I can.
I once helped a friend in silly situation. I was a freshman in college, and he was a local kid and a senior in high school. He was living with his uncle, a sheriff's office dispatcher. He came to me one day asking if I could take his ugns to a pawn shop for him. I thought that he might have gotten his girlfriend in trouble, and was willing to help him out. The next week he was back asking me to sell his stereo equipment. A few weeks later he was back again. This time to ask me if I knew how to ride a motorcycle. I did, and he asked if I would look at one that he was wanting to buy. I thought he just wanted a more experienced opinion than his own. Nope. Moron bought a bike through the want ads and the mail. 200 miles away. We drove out there and it was OK, so I drove it home for him. Then he told me that his uncle had forbidden him to get one, and asked if he could park it at my apartment. Then he asked if I could teach him how to ride. Yes on both. We went down to the river where there was lots of sand to fall on. He seemed to catch on pretty good. Never even popped the clutch once. Until we took it over to another friends to show off. He reved it up real high and popped the clutch. Off we shot at high speed, and out of control. He hit a pile of fire wood, and we went airborne. I ws lucky enough to fall off in the nice soft grass. He and the bike wrapped around a tree. There went $500 in two days. You can teach them to ride, but you can't take the stupid out of them I guess.

Yes! Everybody needs somebody, we need ppl for diff. reasons
If they begin to overwhelm me I would distance myself from them but let them know I still love and care for them
Unfortunately I've done that before, but we still keep in touch.
