I like just about everything.
Classical, Rock, Jazz, and (shhhh don't tell my coworkers) Country.
I keep my radio tuned to a station that plays the top 40 songs. I know I'm probably not in their target audience (I'm 47) but I like the music.

I usually dig any kind of rock (soft, classic, alternative, hard) and every once in a while I get in the mood for some R&B-ish, Justin Timberlake-ish type of stuff.

I am pretty open when it comes to music so i like almost everything,but my favorite type is Metal/Classic metal,and classic rock.

Avante-garde mostly - jazz,chamber music,fusion,etc. Anything really abstract. Very early acid rock,although it's hard to find. traditional Japanese folk music is very spaced out,often up to 20 seconds between notes.
