Then they made tablets, to ensure people used more than they needed to, and to keep the tablets from breaking they used thicker packaging, and more of it.

Oh, then they added water to the powder, and put it into bigger plastic bottles to sell as a liquid product.

You forgot to mention that these manufacturers charge more money each time they change packing or the powder.
Thats how they make more profits and we keep spending more on powder and less on food.

Now companies are coming back with concentrated detergent so you use less and it uses less plastic pkg.... WOW ! I really miss the good ol' days when you washed your clothes on rocks with homemade soap...!!!! GET A LIFE ALREADY !
